We have grown accustomed to feelings of concern and frustration due to the current state of our economy, and in no way do we want to minimalize those feelings because our nation is definitely struggling. However, despite our down economy the projected spending on Christmas this year is $500 billion! That’s up from the numbers in this video!
The needs are great all around the world. Living in such a privileged country, it is easy to forget the way of life for the majority of people living on earth, in just about every continent. Lack of clean water means the difference between life and death for men, women and children alike. There are millions of people going hungry today and every day. So many do not have the basic necessity of a roof over their head. We want to challenge the way you choose to spend and give this holiday season. Give relationally. Give love. Give life.
